It has nothing to do with shopping.
Barbershopping. Is there such a word? It's Barbershop music. It's 4 part harmony. It's amazing!! I'm so excited, I started this new blog (haven't touched my old ones since 2006!!!!) and I just have to share the excitement!
It's 2:31 am on Tuesday morning, July 5th. I'm supposed to be at the airport in 2.5 hours... and I haven't finished packing, haven't slept, haven't eaten, haven't showered (yeah, I know...TMI), and I am a bundle of nerves!!!
I've at least checked in for my flight... love Delta Airlines and how simple they make life.
Being a seasoned (won't start about food... but, you'll probably hear about it from the afterglows.... afterglow, you ask? We'll get into that another time) traveller.. I know how to pack and how to dress to speed through the airport with little to no "imperial entanglement".
I'm off to Kansas City... for the International Barbershop Championship!!! You can find out much more about that at http://www.barbershop.org - I sing with a group called Masters of Harmony (http://www.mastersofharmony.org) and we're competing this year.
I also sing with another group called The Santa Monica Oceanaires (http://wwww.oceanaires.org) - we'll talk more about them later.
Anyway, I need to go finish packing. Will get back to you later!
